How to Absorb Pet Urine from Carpeting
Whenever one of our dogs made a "mistake" on our carpeting, My Mother would always grab for the canaster of salt..
She would pour a mountain of salt over the puddle. the salt acted as a sponge! You could see it rising into the salt pile.
after the initial absorbtion filled the salt, she would then scoop it up with a dust pan. She then would re-apply dry salt. and repeat the process. When she saw that it slowed down she would leave it overnight to absorb any left over dampness. In the morning she would then scoop up the mound. She then followed up with the vacuum!
Tip: never use sugar, it will get sticky.
